I am a Teacher
I was hired at Mission Hills High in San Marcos for a permanent Math position in 2005. It was a new school and I was big on possibilities for creating culture and being part of new traditions.
I am a mathematics major from CSUSM, so I was hired to teach Algebra and Geometry in my year 1. It evolved to Geometry Honors and Algebra 2. We have a passionate math dept at Mission and I am proud to be part of such a group.
I believe that I am first a caring teacher, then tough when necessary. I make sure to teach how I would want my daughters taught and I believe that it makes me better. I was asked to consider helping with a peer leadership group called PLUS. » Read More
